Christmas Eve
When you arrive for Christmas at Penmaenuchaf Hall Hotel, you will be greeted with a warm and festive welcome. Once
settled in, join us in the hotel's Mahogany Room and enjoy a scrumptious traditional
afternoon tea.
The evening begins with a festive musical interlude and a warming yuletide
punch, the perfect opportunity to meet your hosts and fellow hotel guests. Our
Christmas Eve Gala Dinner will follow, complete with a very special guest
appearance!
For hotel guests wishing to go to Midnight Service on Christmas Eve, transport to Dolgellau will be arranged.
Christmas Day
On Christmas Day morning, join us at your leisure for a Champagne
brunch.
Then perhaps sit by one of the roaring log fires whilst exchanging and
opening Christmas presents or take a peaceful walk in the hotel grounds or along the banks
of the Mawddach Estuary.
The Queen's speech will be shown in the Mahogany Room at 3.00 p.m. This will
be followed by our traditional Christmas lunch – a feast complete with crackers
and festive trimmings.
The hotel treasure hunt will be staged during the evening and a
splendid buffet supper will be served to round off Christmas Day.
Boxing Day
Start Boxing Day with a hearty Penmaenuchaf breakfast.
For those who are feeling energetic, our guide will take a group on a
leisurely walk in the spectacular, Snowdonia hills. For the less energetic,
enjoy Boxing Day morning at the hotel.
An informal three-course luncheon will be served from midday onwards.
On Boxing Day evening, enjoy our pre-dinner, tutored wine tasting followed
by a four-course gourmet dinner.
